Something to Blog Home About

Hey All! So we are back! Third times the charm, I hope. First off some quick house keeping stuff. We are gonna try this blog for the third time. It should be your best source for all things Tater(we might even put the kids real name up here, when we know it). So check back. If you like it let us know, if you are missing posts and want more let us know.

If you aren't aware, Emily and I finally have something worth blogging about. I got it a 35 mile ride. Oh, no wait, the Baby. Apply nicked name Tater Tot. Tater finally has a place to sleep and call home. His/Her room is all ready to go! Here are some pictures of the room. We'll start with the big shot here below:

You can see the crib (that's where Tater might sleep), the changing pad there on the left and the corner of the rocking chair on the far right. Also in the middle on the floor is the Elephant Humidifier, cute as a button isn't it. Yeah, the humidified air comes out of his trunk!

Squeezing in tight on the closet and the crib area here. If you are a keen observer you might recognize a gift or two in the closet that you gave Tater. Thanks! We went with the cuddly jungle animals theme for the nursery as you can see by the rug and the wall hanging, which will become a blanket when Tater is old enough for that sort of thing, and the valance over the window. Next up is where all the action takes place. It's the changing table! Got the basket of goodies on the left there and the wipe warmer in the middle. We are gonna give reusable wipes a shot at home along with reusable diapers. It's a plan if it woks, then HELL TO THE YEAH! If not, we'll fall back regroup and set back up for an other assault.

Again some more cute cuddely jungle critters. Hopefully Tater will be fully exposed to the Discovery Channel and Nat Geo (National Geographic silly!) before getting lost in the jungle or She/He will be super confused. Tigers are way bigger than elephants and not so cuddly.

Don't worry there is plenty of gadgetry to go along with Tater. Seriously, you people know me, I'm a bit of a nerd. So we've got a video/audio monitor along with a temp egg. The egg is sweet it changes color along with the temp in the room, yellow egg = happy Tater. Simple!

So that's what we have for now. We'll get more to you when we can. Not much else to share at the moment. Emily is due May 4th. We are scheduled to induce on May 10th, at 8pm, if Tater hasn't made her/his appearance by then. Let us know what else you wanna know about. Also there is a Baby Pool at the following website: http://bebepool.com/go/?a=fearnow&view=list. Put in your votes and check back!

Jon and Emily.
